Tomorrow is a big day for North Bay’s Cory Marks.

The local musician’s debut album ‘Who I Am‘ is being released.

He says it includes 13 tracks he wrote over the past five years about his life.

“The good, bad and ugly it’s got a little bit of everything in there, of course, kind of explaining ‘Who I Am’ and again through the good and the bad I think there’s a lot of things in there that people can relate to,” Marks says.

A few singles have already been released, dating back to late November, and are being well received.

“‘Outlaws and Outsiders’ now has over 20-million streams globally, we’re top five in Germany and we got to top 10 in the U.S. in rock radio. It’s been pretty amazing and now ‘Drive’ is at Canadian Country Radio and hoping for my first top 10 right here in Canada,” He says.

The local entertainer was supposed to be on a U.S. tour right now, but that’s changed because of the pandemic.

“Taking in the little things being at home, spending time with family, doing a lot of writing to set up for the next record. It’s given me a lot of time to write and I think as a song writer we’ve had a lot of things to write about considering the circumstances around the world and things are a little bit crazy right now,” Marks says.

As for the tour, he says right now it’s been pushed to 2021.
