Face coverings are now mandatory in the North Bay Parry Sound District.

The move was announced earlier this month by the Health Unit, and takes effect today (Fri).

Officials say face coverings must be worn in ‘enclosed public spaces’.

They say that means indoor spaces of businesses, organizations, and services accessed by the public, including public transportation.

Face coverings should also be worn in other spaces, indoor and outdoor, where physical distancing is challenging or not possible.
