North Bay Police are looking for public help in regards to a mischief investigation.

Early on Monday morning in a gravel parking lot on Oak Street East someone smashed the windshield of a mid-sized light coloured car using a large water or gas metal gateway shutoff valve.

Anyone with information is asked to call North Bay Police or Near North Crime Stoppers or you can submit a tip online at nearnorthcrimestoppers.com.

Almaguin OPP have charged a 38 year old Toronto resident with impaired and driving while suspended.

This after officers responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Second Avenue on McMurrich-Monteith Township Sunday afternoon before 3 pm.

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month and OPP are reminding motorcyclists to watch their speed, drive sober and make themselves as visible as possible to other drivers.

Four motorcyclists have died so far this year on OPP-patrolled roadways in Ontario.

Police say two were driving properly at the time while speed was a factor in the other two.
