City police have charged a 34 year old North Bay man with several offences including break and enter, assault, mischief, carrying a concealed weapon and more after a few incidents early yesterday and last week.

Police say a small amount of cash was taken from an Oak Street business after it was broken into before 6 am Sunday.

They say later that morning a theft occurred at a convenience store on Main East then shortly before 8 am police responded to a Main East location where a window was broken to gain entry.

A suspect was attempting leave but was arrested, with police saying an edged weapon was found.

Two incidents downtown last week involved damages from broken windows.
