City police are looking for a suspect after a business in the 500 block of Cassells Street was broken into around 7am Monday.

Police say a window was broken at the back of hte business, however nothing was taken.

Officers responded after an alarm was activated but the suspect had left the scene before they arrived.

Anyone with information that may assist police with this investigation is asked to call the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and select option 9 to speak to a police officer.

Meantime, North Bay Police responded to three complaints of thefts from vehicles over the weekend.

They happened in the Wallace Heights and Pinewood areas of the city.

Property that was taken included loose change, a wallet and a pocket knife.

Police remind residents to lock their vehicles and secure your property.

They also say if you see suspicious activity in North Bay and Callander call 705-472-1234.

If you see a crime in progress call 911.
