The Health Unit says 83 negative test results for COVID-19 have come back, as of Tuesday at 4:30 pm.

There’s still zero confirmed cases in the North Bay Parry Sound District.

Officials are still waiting on 86 test results to come back.

Meantime, the Health Unit says they were officially notified late yesterday morning of a person who lives and tested positive for COVID-19 outside our district.

They’re following up with close contacts of the person that do live in the district, advising them to self-isolate for 14 days.

The Health Unit is awaiting test results and says because of privacy legislation they’re unable to share details about these individuals.

They say they will notify the public when an individual who resides in our district tests positive for COVID-19.

Meantime overseas, Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The prince’s Clarence House office says the 71-year-old is showing mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health.

He’s self-isolating at a royal estate in Scotland.

His wife Camilla has tested negative.
