North Bay OPP report a couple crashes on the long weekend involving snowmobiles.

OPP say a rider was charged for driving without insurance and not having a permit after a crash on a trail in East Ferris last Saturday afternoon.

The driver suffered minor injuries after the snowmobile hit a snowbank and rolled.

On Sunday night OPP say a snow machine left a trail in Nipissing Township with the driver suffering serious injuries and taken to hospital. The investigation continues.
