Ian Campeau is a co-founder and former member of ‘A Tribe Called Red’ and tomorrow night he’s speaking at Nipissing University.

Officials say Campeau, who is from Nipissing First Nation, uses his notoriety to draw attention to issues of racism, gender based violence, stigmas of mental health, and other forms of oppression through a powerful combination of art and activism.

Wednesday’s event is free and open to everyone.

The talks starts at 7 pm in the Nipissing University Theatre.
