After 25 years of operations, The Salvation Army Thrift Store on the 400 block of Main Street is closing January 18th.

Officials say it’s because of ongoing financial concerns.

“The Thrift Store will be officially closing to the public on January 18, 2020. This was not an easy decision and was made due to an ongoing history of financial instability which could no longer be sustained,” states a media release. “We are grateful for the support we’ve received from the community of North Bay throughout the 25 plus years that The Salvation Army Thrift Store was in operation, and we look forward to continuing to provide social services to those in need in our community through our Salvation Army location 134 McIntyre St. E. North Bay.”

The Salvation Army says they will continue to be a part of the North Bay Community giving hope to the many in need.
