Five impaired charges in Nipissing West in November

November saw Nipissing West OPP charge five drivers with impaired.

They include residents of North Bay, Verner, St Charles and two people from Field, in separate incidents.

That brings the yearly total of impaired charges by Nipissing West OPP to 55, up from 32 last year.

Of note, Ontario Provincial Police took over policing the Municipality of West Nipissing in early June.

There’s no word if the increase in their catchment area factors into the jump in the number of charges.
