The North Bay Battalion hope the friendlier confines of Memorial Gardens will get the team back to winning ways tonight, as they entertain the Sudbury Wolves.

The Troops have dropped five straight, all on the road, since winning on Thanksgiving Day.

Coach Stan Butler says he will continue to be patient with his younger players.

“We’ve got a plan this year with our young guys. We’re trying to stick to that and play them. It’s development versus winning and we’re trying to balance the two, “ he says.

This is the second of eight games versus the Wolves this season, with Sudbury winning in the nickel city in September.

Broadcast time tonight on Country 600 CKAT is 6:50 pm.

On Sunday, the Troops host Peterborough.

Rookie Liam Arnsby will miss this weekend’s games as he’s out west for the World Under 17 Challenge.

He’s playing for Team White which has its first game tomorrow.
