The North Bay Battalion have named their new captain.

He’s Brad Chenier.

He succeeds Justin Brazeau.

Previous captains of the North Bay Battalion also include Barclay Goodrow, Marcus McIvor, Mike Amadio and Riley Bruce.

The team has also named Matthew Struthers, Mason Primeau and Luke Moncada as the alternates.

Chenier scored 30 goals and added 35 assists for 65 points last season, and was third in team scoring.
Struthers scored 31 goals and picked up 50 helpers in 61 games last season and was an alternate last year as well.

Primeau, scored 10 goals and added 16 assists for 26 points last season after being acquired form Guelph.

And Moncada scored eight goals and had nine assists for 17 points.

He was also picked up in a trade from the Storm.
