WINNIPEG – RCMP say the bodies believed to be two British Columbia murder suspects have been found in northern Manitoba.

They say the bodies were found this morning in dense brush near the shoreline of the Nelson River.

Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, from Port Alberni, B.C., were facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of a Vancouver man.

They were also suspects in the shooting deaths of an American woman and her Australian boyfriend.

RCMP said yesterday they found several items linked to the two suspects near the river.

They say the bodies were found within a kilometre from those items.
