Two new forest fires in the area

Two more forest fires have popped up in the North Bay Distict, in the Temagami area.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says both are 0.1 hectares in size.

One is on the shores of Lake Temagami while the other is west of Finlayson Provincial Park.

There are have been 12 wild fires in the district so far this season.

The forest fire hazard ranges from low to extreme across the northeast region.
