Tilted Tower Broadcaster’s Ale is back for a 3rd straight year.

New Ontario Brewing Company and KiSS 100.5 have teamed up again to support families battling Cystic Fibrosis.

Fifty cents from the sale of every can of the blueberry wheat ale will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis North Bay.

Mike Harrison is the brewmaster at New Ontario Brewing.

He says this is a great initiative to be involved in.

“I encourage people to look up the Cystic Fibrosis web site and see what children have to go through. And ask yourself what else could you do but raise money,” he says.

KiSS 100.5 Program Director and Morning Show Host Kevin Oschefski says if they sell 10,000 cans they’ll be able to contribute $5,000 to the research being done to stamp out Cystic Fibrosis.

Macrina Perron has 2 children with Cystic Fibrosis, a 12 year boy and a nine year old girl.

She says the money raised from this campaign is making a big difference.

“It does great things including research, advocacy and patient care. And hopefully leads to a cure some day,” Perron says.

She says it also creates awareness on what people with the illness go through.
