The North Bay Regional Health Centre has declared an influenza A outbreak in the In Patient Rehab section of the hospital.

Officials say precautionary measures are in place.

The public is asked to follow all posted instructions, clean hands often when visiting for atleast 15 seconds with soap and warm water or by using a alcohol based hand sanitizer and postpone your visit if you’re not feeling well.

They add it’s not too late to get your flu shot at the Health Unit, physician offices and participating pharmacies.
