Freezing rain in the forecast, school bus and flight cancellations

You’ll need to scrape the car this morning and likely later on again too.

Along with freezing drizzle expected this morning, Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for the North Bay area.

The agency says freezing rain will begin early this afternoon and last for several hours before it ends later this afternoon or this evening.

School transportation officials advise ALL school buses across the Nipissing, East and West Parry Sound Districts are CANCELLED today (Monday, February 4th) because of the weather.

Schools remain open.

Air Canada advises all departures from North Bay to Toronto today are CANCELLED because of the weather.

Three arrivals are also cancelled, while the 11:15 pm flight from Toronto, at last check (8 am), was still listed as ‘on time’.
