Laurentian Ski Hill and the North Bay Battalion are teaming up for a night of fun at the hill tonight (Friday).

Fans can meet and take pictures with the Troops, get autographs and roast marshmallows at the upper lodge.

The free event goes from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Last fall the grade 1/2 class at MT Davidson Public School took a field trip to the Callander Bay Heritage Museum then drew pictures of their favourite artefacts at the museum.

Those drawings are now being celebrated with an exhibit in the museum’s Alex Dufresne Gallery.

An opening reception goes tomorrow (Saturday) from 2 pm to 4 pm with free museum admission.

École Secondaire Catholique Algonquin is looking to Barons of the past to ‘come home again’ to celebrate this spring.

One of Ontario’s first French-language high schools is holding their 50th anniversary reunion May 17th to 19th.

There will be a wine and cheese event, golf tournament, alumni basketball and volleyball games, a concert and more.

Tickets are available at the school or on their website.
