A 45 year old male has been arrested in Powassan and charged with assault and 3 counts of failing to comply with recognizance.

Police say the arrest was made on Christmas Eve after getting a complaint about a domestic disturbance.

Police say a male had been previously released on conditions not to communicate with the victim and to stay away from the residence.
