Environment Canada says the special weather statement for the North Bay area has ended.

The statement ended at about 9:15 am, after being continued earlier in the day.

Another 5 cm of snow was forecast for the area.

Poor road conditions and icy side roads led school transportation officials to cancel all school buses across the district on Tuesday.

Schools remain open.
