A councillor motion on cannabis is coming forward at tonight’s regular council meeting, to “opt in” to a bricks and mortar retail store next spring.

A couple of public presentations will kick off the meeting.

It’s the final session before the October election.

One presentation involves a Municipal Accommodation Tax while the other is about a road safety strategy.

Several reports are coming forward.

There is one from the operational review committee, another involves on board video surveillance for the transit fleet and another involves reconstruction of the Highway 11/17 and Seymour intersection.

The committee agenda includes a couple rezoning applications.
