The city has sold some of its land at the Airport Industrial Park so a business can expand its current footprint by 60,000 square feet.

Councillor Mark King says the property the city sold is at Voodooo Crescent and Roundel Road and will enable Dicom Express to expand.

“It’s an excellent deal as far as the city is concerned. We’re going to have another tenant up there that’s going to pay more taxes somewhere along the way. It’s been pretty slow in my estimation as far as development up there over the years and this is something good,” he says.
