New Democrats in Nipissing nominate their candidate tonight (Thursday) for the upcoming June provincial election.

Past candidate and popular social advocate Henri Giroux is looking to be the party’s candidate again.

Giroux has taken aim at both the Liberals and Progressive Conservatives.

He says the Liberals have overstayed their welcome and says the PC Party isn’t fit to run the province.

Tonight’s nomination meeting goes at the North Bay Public Library at 5:30 pm.

Voters head to the polls in Ontario on June 7th.

The Progressive Conservatives, the Green Party, Northern Ontario Party and Libertarian Party all have candidates nominated in Nipissing for the upcoming election.
