Powassan OPP have charged a 19 year old with sexual assault on a person under 16 and sexual interference with a person under 16. Police say the charges relate to an incident last month in Trout Creek.

(collision)

As well, OPP have charged an 18 year old North Bay male with two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

Police say this follows a collision early Sunday morning on Highway 11.

Police say two motorists were injured and both vehicles were damaged extensively.

A 58 year old Papineau-Cameron Township man is facing several charges including attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle someone, uttering threats, assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and forcible confinement.

Police say a Mattawa male phoned them on Halloween to tell them his wife and children were missing.
