CIBC Run For The Cure raises over $40,000

290 people took part in the CIBC Run For The Cure yesterday (Sunday) at North Bay’s waterfront.

The 5k and 1k walk/run event raised an estimated $40,517.

The money goes towards breast cancer research, education and support programs.

The 13th annual local event was one of dozens held across Canada.
