New Powassan Voodoos head coach Beau Moyer says he’s not a do it my way or the highway kind of coach.

He says he’s very willing to give players freedom as long as they show defensive responsibility too.

Moyer who grew up in North Bay says it’s great to be back home.

He says his most important job is to develop players through the season so that players learn from their mistakes and improve for the most important part of the season.

Moyer says he wants his defensemen to be aggressive and not be afraid to be that 4th man on the offensive attack.

General Manager Chis Dawson says last years team was all physical while this years team will have a little more finesse.
