If you have any thoughts on the province’s planned minimum wage increase to $15, here’s your voice your opinion.

Public hearings are taking place in 10 communities next month, including North Bay.

The local session happens during week one of the hearings, between July 10th and 14th.

The deadline to apply to make a presentation is July 4th.

MPP Vic Fedeli is urging small business owners and community members who may be impacted by the planned hike to apply to make a presentation.

“This is an important part of the democratic process,” Fedeli said. “It provides the people of our community with a voice and because the government did not do a cost-benefit-analysis, this will help describe the impact to both employees and employers.”
