The city says the rehabilitation of O’Brien Street that was planned for next week is now getting started today (Thursday).

This after unforeseen circumstances on Carmichael Drive where there was a cross culvert collapse.

The asphalt resurfacing work on O’Brien, from Ramsey Street to Milani Road, will see traffic impacted with the roadway reduced to one lane.

Officials say if the road needs to close entirely at any point, detours will be set up.

The project is expected to be complete by next Thursday.
