On Thursday,  the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority reinstituted the flood outlook.

It will be in effect until Wednesday at noon.

NBMCA duty officer Katelyn Lynch says in addition to the rain on Thursday  the five day forecast is calling for 25-50 additional mm of rain by Monday.

She points out Lake Nipissing‘s operating level is at maximum right now and if the forecast does hold true over the next four days the level of the lake could rise to a level of concern.
