One Kids Place is looking for input into shaping the future of the local Children’s Treatment Centre.

It all involves a new strategic plan that will guide the organization’s work over the next 3 to 5 years.

Executive Director Denis Filiatrault says along with focus groups on their website, there’s a confidential survey that can be found at onekidsplace.ca

He says that will help inform and set the direction for services provided to children and youth with special needs, and their families.

“We’ve always had tremendous community support and again with this strategic plan, we’re really asking the community to provide us their feedback, in terms of what One Kids Place does well in our community and also what One Kids Place could do a little bit better,” he says.

Filiatrault says they have over 100 employees serving over 3000 clients and families a year in the districts of Nipissing and Muskoka-Parry Sound.

Our goal is to continue to provide that level of service, but also really look at opportunties for growth within the organization that will contribute, again, to families in all those communities,” he says.

The survey is available until April 4th.
