North Bay Police are reminding people to lock their vehicles and remove valuables.

This as police investigate a number of thefts from unlocked vehicles over the weekend.

There were a couple incidents each on Hammond Street and Laurier Avenue, with another one on Ferguson Street and one on Third Avenue.

Various items including loose change, a wallet, vehicle documents and a leather jacket were taken.

Police say they seized a flashlight that was left behind in one incident.

 

City police report a 24 year old East Ferris man is facing charges after a two-vehicle collision in a parking lot around 2 am Saturday.

Police say it’s alleged the accused was entering a parking lot on Seymour Street and struck another vehicle that was leaving.

There were no injuries.

The man is charged with impaired driving and fail or refuse to provide a breath sample.
