From country and rock music to Chinese acrobats, comedy and an open-air Blues Festival in the parking lot in September, the Capitol Centre‘s new season is chalk full of entertainment.

Lee Ann Womack and The Tea Party are just two of the scheduled performers, along with Comedian Brent Butt, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, entrepreneur and ‘Dragon’ Arlene Dickenson and so much more.

The season officially opens October 9th with the opening night act to be announced July 4th.

It wraps up next April 23rd with supergroup collective An Evening with Moe Berg, Chris Murphy, Craig Northey & Steven Page.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 10th.

In the lead up to the new season, this summer features the Children’s Festival in June and the Fringe Festival in August.

Also of note, the Wine Gala fundraiser is now known as Hops and Vines to celebrate both wine and beer.
