Good news for about 3,600 people in the area without a doctor

northern shores medical clinic It’s another step closer to reducing the number of people without a doctor in the North Bay area.

Doctors, hospital officials and local politicians are officially opening the new Northern Shores Medical Clinic today (Friday).

Back in November, officials said the clinic could benefit upwards of 3,600 people in the next two years.

They say around 10,000 to 12,000 people are without a doctor in the area.

The new clinic is located at 10 Maplewood Avenue.
