Police2 (North Bay)(File photo) Two men are facing charges after a traffic stop and home was searched in North Bay in mid-December.

A 43 year old city man is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of property obtained by crime while a 23 year old Toronto man is charged with possession of property obtained by crime and money laundering proceeds of crime.

Police say 47 grams of suspected “shatter”, which is a concentrated form of marijuana that resembles honey or taffy (and is also know as “wax”, “sap” or “budder”), nearly 109 grams of suspected cannabis marijuana, 12 grams of suspected cannabis resin and $17,000 in Canadian currency was seized.

An ongoing Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation began in July 2015.
