police stopCharges have been filed after a couple of separate incidents on Saturday.

One was an early morning break-in to a Lake Nipissing waterfront restaurant.

Police were called about the sound of glass breaking just after 12:30 am.

An investigation found there was damage to the premises and about $500 in food was spoiled and thrown all over a section of the restaurant.

Two 18 year old males were charged with break, enter and commit along with mischief under $5,000.

One of them was also charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

Meantime, two other 18 year old males were issued provincial offence notices for trespassing.

 

North Bay Police also report a fail to remain collision on Saturday night around 9 pm has led to charges for a 21 year old woman.

It’s alleged a vehicle was struck on Fisher Street by a female driver of a car that fled the scene.

The vehicle was located on Worthington near John Street.

The woman was charged with possession of marijuana and fail to stop at the scene of an accident.
