Body found in Sturgeon River this week identified

An update after West Nipissing Police reported a body was found near the shoreline of the Sturgeon River on Sunday night.

Police say a post mortem took place on Wednesday and the pathologist confirms the deceased is Dylan McManaman.

The 14 year old fell into the river last fall.

Police say the cause of death has been listed as drowning and foul play is not suspected.
