One Kids Deacon funding 2

Children and youth with autism will get a chance to enjoy a fun summer camp this year, thanks to the Deacon Family.

Mark and his partner Steven have lived in North Bay for the last eight years, and say it has felt like an eternity because of how welcoming the community is.

With that in mind they have donated $100,000 to One Kids Place.

The Deacons son has Asperger’s Syndrome and Mark Deacon says One Kids Place has really helped their child, especially with their new building.

The money is going towards running summer programs at camps, for children and youth with autism.
