Special Olympics Winter Games wrap up report

From the opening ceremonies to the closing ceremonies the 2015 Special Olympics Ontario Winter Games was a great event says Constable Merv Shantz. Shantz was the Games Manager and delivered a wrap up report to the North Bay Police Services Board earlier this week. He says the community really got behind the event and it was great to see. Shantz says even the Special Olympics organizers commented on the enormous support for the games from the community.

Shantz says as a Police Officer they often see the downside of society, but he says with a project like this it was very rewarding and all positive.
