North Bay’s Canada 150 Party!

Join us on Saturday, July 1st at the waterfront for tons of great family-friendly activities.

The July 1st Canada Day festivities will kick off at twelve noon at the Waterfront A.C.T. shelter with the singing of O’Canada and the official cake cutting ceremonies. After the opening ceremonies, the North Bay & District Multicultural Centre will host the 10^th annual Multicultural Showcase.

Be sure to join Discovery North Bay for free entry into their “Hockey, More than just a Game” and Historic Canadian Demonstrations at Discovery North Bay Museum between 12pm – 5pm.

From 10am – 11am there will be cricket coaching followed by a 12pm cricket game held at Amelia soccer field.

The Kiwanis band shell will feature outstanding local entertainment from 2-5pm and again from 7-10pm. The headliners for the evening are High Holy Days and Cory Marquardt.

Featuring local bands from 1pm to 5pm.

The Busker stage will be fully functional from 1pm to 5pm as well and will feature singles and duo’s from the area.  The Busker stage is located on Memorial drive near the pedestrian underpass.  All three stages will have free admission.

And a Fireworks Finale will complete the celebration at 10:00 p.m. on the North Bay waterfront.
