What:  Registration is now open for the 2017 YMCA Road Hockey Spring Classic

About the YMCA Road Hockey Spring Classic:

The YMCA of North Bay is teaming up with RE/MAX to host the YMCA Road Hockey Spring Classic, taking place Saturday, May 27th in North Bay. All funds raised help support the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

This day of fun and friendly competition features teams of 4-6 players across multiple divisions playing in a minimum of four 20-minute games. All players will receive a free lunch courtesy of Orchards Fresh Food Market. Trophies will be presented to the winning teams in each division.

“Road hockey is a sport for everyone,” said Yvonne Taylor, General Manager at the YMCA. “We are very excited to welcome all of North Bay to play in this tournament!”

About the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign:

The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign exists to provide financial assistance to families in need, helping them enjoy YMCA programs and services regardless of financial circumstance. In 2016, the YMCA raised $135,000 to support Strong Kids, providing access to swim lessons, child care and camp experiences to more than 1,400 children and families in North Bay and surrounding communities.
