An estimated crowd of about 3,000 took part in Saturday’s North Bay Pride March.

The event started at North Bay City Hall and made its way to the waterfront for a Pride picnic.

People from all over Ontario took part, with BayToday reporting a group of about 30 from Sudbury Pride were here for the event, along with CUPE members from Kingston, Sudbury and Toronto.

A Pride cruise is taking place tonight aboard the Chief Commanda, wrapping up four days of activities.
