King's hat is in the ring

Add another name to the list of councillor candidates in North Bay.

Incumbent Mark King has filed his nomination papers.

He says a variety of issues, like growing the local economy, infrastructure, an outside review of expenses and more, are priorities.

Fifteen people are now vying for 10 councillor seats.

No one has filed for the Mayor’s chair, yet.

The deadline is next Friday, July 27th at 2 pm.

The municipal election is October 22nd.
