Scott McLeod has been re-elected Chief of Nipissing First Nation.

McLeod garnered 509 votes to win another term in Friday’s election.

Seven councillors were also elected with Muriel Sawyer voted in as Deputy Chief.

The six other councillors include Eric (Rick) Stevens, June Commanda, Corey Goulais, Brian Couchie, Mike Sawyer and Jane B Commanda.
