Tilted Tower Broadcaster’s Ale is back!

New Ontario Brewing Company and KiSS 100.5 have team up to bring back the beer, in support of families battling Cystic Fibrosis.

This is the second year the beer has been available, after selling out in about two days last year.

The light, wheat ale is made with blueberry juice.

Brew Master Mike Harrison says they brewed more cans this year.

“Last year we raised, between cans sold and independent donations that we took in, $2,500 for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year we have about another thousand cans coming off the line and through the independent donations that we seem to get, I imagine it’ll be a bigger cheque we present this year,” he says.

Harrison says 50 cents from every can is being donated to Cystic Fibrosis North Bay.

“It’s about being a part of the community, reaching out. The people at CF North Bay, the work they do for these kids, it’s truly inspiring,” Harrison adds.

Once again this year, KiSS 100.5 Program Director and morning show host Kevin Oschefski’s caricature is featured on the can.

My Job takes me all over the city, and I get to meet some truly incredible people, including children suffering from Cystic Fibrosis. This made me decide that I wanted to help,” he says.

The beer is available, for a limited time, at New Ontario Brewing Company at 1881 Cassells Street.

They’re open Saturday to Thursday from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, and Friday from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm.
