North Bay Police are inviting the public and the taxi industry to a public meeting about proposed changes to the taxi bylaw.

It’s  because of recent changes to legislation involving minimum wage.

The goal of the town hall event is discuss the impact the new provincial legislation has had on the taxi owners and brokers and possible rate increases.

The meeting takes place January 22nd from 7 pm to 9 pm at the North Bay Police Services building on Princess Street.

Those looking to make a presentation are asked to provide a written submission to S/Sgt. Rick Dubeau in the Traffic Office or email him at rdubeau@northbaypolice.on.ca before January 19, 2018 at 4pm.
