There is a national out break of people getting ill from eating romaine lettuce and the North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit says there are 2 local cases of e coli.

The outbreak is taking place in 5 provinces and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency says it’s working with public health officials to determine the source of the romaine lettuce that people were exposed too.

No recalls of product have been made at this point.
