A recent incident involving a skunk is highlighted in a mural

Remember the skunk story of a few days ago when a city police officer Constable Sarah Cavanaugh braved the situation and successfully removed a cup which was on the skunk’s head.

A skunk is portrayed on the mural which has been unveiled at the Mac’s store at Cassells and O’Brien.

North Bay Police Chief Shawn Devine says it was a perfect representation of what the mural project was about.

He says the artist MagicFinnga Wong incorporated local ideas in the final product and the skunk incident was unique to the service and to North Bay and that was really what the art project was all about.
