The Grandmothers Advocacy Network is looking to Canadians — and local residents — to urge Parliament to pass a bill that would save lives in developing countries.Local spokesperson Suzanne Brooks says Bill C-398 needs to be passed because it would simplify the process in countries getting generic drugs. She points out MP Jay Aspin supports the bill. Rallies were held in 17 communities today (Thurs). About 30 people rallied in support of the bill at Discovery North Bay.
