The Canadian University report is out and there are plenty of smiles at Nipissing University. Interm vice president Vicky Payne Mantha says the grades from the Globe and Mail’s annual university report prove Nipissing continues to put students first. The report surveyed 31,000 undergraduate students across the country and 58 universities were grouped into 4 categories including large, medium, small and very small. Nipissing is in the small category The survey says Nipissing scored an A in the campus Atmosphere category, an A-minus in work play balance and an A-minus in student residence. The University did well in academics as well with first place scores in research opportunities, student-faculty interaction and instructor’s teaching style. Other first place marks occurred in the most satisfied students, information technology and career preperation. The university did so well it earned A-plus in the class size category and their mark was the top one for any university in Canada.
